ABOV Semiconductor released 20 products for its G1 Series, ARM Cortex-M0+ based 32-bit general purpose MCUs. G1 Series boasts low-power, high-performance ARM architecture and ABOV’s high-tech in-house IPs. It is a brand for ABOV’s 32-bit general purpose MCUs based on Cortex-M0+ core. The release is a 32-bit addition to ABOV’s previous M series, high-performance motor MCUs based on Cortex-M3 core. The series can be widely used in various applications such as small drones, portable healthcare devices, and home appliances.
G1 series is offered in variety of internal flash memory options from 16KB to 64KB, packages from 24-pin to 80-pin, and also integrates various peripherals such as LCD and LED drivers and more to be easily used for various customer applications. Especially, it integrates various interfaces for IoT expansion, supports high temperatures up to 105℃ to cover not only home appliances but industrial applications. It also supports a wide range of operating voltages from 1.8V to 5.5V. Lastly, it is built to support IEC 60730, the home appliance safety standard.
Following the release of its 32-bit general purpose G1 Series, ABOV Semiconductor is developing G2 Series that provides high-capacity memory, and G3 Series, high-performance line-up that integrates touch and USB functions. These products will be released sequentially this year.
