4 bit Single Remote
Description
SR(Single Remote) MCUs are 4 bit MCUs for IR remote controller. Those are simple MCUs which has minimum functions for IR remote contoller. SR-MCUs are gradualy improved to meet the customers needs. So there are several serieses which listed below.

- MC9101 : It is a LOGIC IC for IR remote with an internal OSC. So it is possble to make a remote with IR pattern data without S/W coding.

- MC41P6x04 Series : It has a 1.5% error internal OSC. And It's operating range is 1.8v~3.6v. And it is possible to write multi times by dividing 4 k bytes rom area( max 4 times when each code size is 1k bytes).

- MC40P5x04B Series : It's operating range is 1.2v~3.6v. And it is possible to write multi times by dividing 4 k bytes rom area( max 4 times when each code size is 1k bytes).

- MC40P5x04 Series : It's operating range is 1.8v~3.6v. And it is possible to write multi times by dividing 4 k bytes rom area( max 4 times when each code size is 1k bytes).

- MC40P5x01 Series (EOL): This series is similar to HMS38/39xxx Series. But MC40P5x01 series's remote out driving current has improved more than 30% from HMS38/39xxx Series. MC40P5x01 Series has an EPROM(OTP:One Time Programmable) with ISP(In System Programming).

- HMS38/39xxx Series : These serieses inherited it's functionality from GMS36/37xx Series. The major difference between two serieses is operating frequency. GMS36/37xx Series are operated with 300~500Khz oscillator. But HMS38/39xxx Series are operated with 2.4~4.0Mhz oscillator. ( Mhz range oscillator is more cheap than KHz oscillator.)

- GMS36/37xx Series : These have the 'Power On Reset' which makes it is possible to operate without external reset circuit. And the 'Low Voltage Detection' feature is added to increase stablity. Besides, GMS36xx Series has an internal transistor which make more simple remote controll circuit. ( GMS37xx Series has no internal transistor, but it has one more I/O pin than GMS36xx Series. Because, internal transister of GMS36xx Series occupies a pin for High Current GND.)

- GMS30/34xx Seriese : The first serieses of 4 bit SR-MCUs which needs a transistor to drive IR-LED and external reset circuit.
