ABOV Semiconductor succeeded providing touch proximity sensor 

for True Wireless Earphones to ZMI, China

ABOV Semiconductor provided A96T516 to the True Wireless Earphone of ZMI (XiaoMi affiliate), a major Chinese mobile accessory manufacturer.

The A96T516 chip is a proximity touch sensor that manages in-ear detection and touch-key sensing functions.

ABOV Semiconductor's proximity touch sensor has world-class technology regarding to electromagnetic wave absorption prevention and has its strengths in noise cancellation and in-ear detection capabilities optimized for true wireless earphones.

The wireless earphone applied to ZMI, which is emerging as a new player in the wireless earphone market in China recently, is PurPodsTM (China RMB 199), which was released in January. 

ABOV Semiconductor's touch proximity sensor has been positioned as a major entry as it expanded its entry not only into high-end wireless market, but into the mid-to-low-end market, which is applying in-ear detection function recently.

ABOV Semiconductor plans to continue to increase its market share by expanding the development of exclusive products not only for mobile phones, which was the main market, but also for wireless earphones and wearables that are rapidly expanding.
