32-bit Touch MCU, A31T214/ 216 from ABOV Semiconductor offers solutions for special applications that use both Touch and LCD/ LED Display.

Featuring Arm Cortex M0+-based high performance 32-bit microcontroller, the A31T214/216 consists of up to 256KB Flash Memory, 16KB SRAM, Self-Capacitive 24-ch Touch, 32 SEG x 8 COM LCD Driver, and 16 SEG x 13 COM LED Driver. In addition, it supports various interfaces such as USART, UART, SPI, and I2C.

In particular, users can drive the Display Panel without additional LCD or LED Driver IC, using the built-in 32 SEG x 8 COM LCD Driver and 16 SEG x 13 COM LED Driver.

The built-in Touch IP with enhanced resistance to external noise satisfies the CS 10V characteristic during operation, and supports Touch Interrupt function in Power Down mode. Touch Shield function prevents the Touch malfunction that could be caused by unexpected moisture.

A31T214/ 216’s T-type LED Driver, which uses a port for both COM and SEG, enables to drive the same number of LEDs using fewer ports than conventional M-type LED Driver.

The A31T21x series is available for the home appliances such as washer, refrigerator, pressure cooker, and microwave oven, and provides optimized function for the display board with Touch function.
